To ensure optimal website optimization, I worked with an SEO expert to select the most effective keywords for Costello Creative Group. I analyzed optimal competition rates and search volumes to choose the top keywords, which were then integrated throughout the website meta-data and blog posts on WordPress. As a result, Costello Creative Group was featured organically on the front page of search results for their top services, along with case studies highlighting successful collaborations with clients. Additionally, launching email campaigns helped the firm stay on top of mind to previous clients for their upcoming projects.

I also created monthly and weekly marketing reports based on impressions, engagement, conversions, and demographics data from our analytics pipeline. These reports were used to evaluate the success of our marketing efforts and make informed decisions about future marketing strategies. Additionally, I presented new marketing and growth strategies to the CEO, which led to a cumulative 300% increase in digital engagements.

As the Marketing Coordinator and Manager at Costello Creative Group, I had the responsibility of establishing the company's digital presence by organizing and launching its marketing efforts. Working with a small team of two graphic designers, my primary focus was to create a marketing strategy that targeted local businesses. In this case study, I will outline the challenges, discoveries, and impact of my role in developing a successful digital marketing strategy for this boutique graphic design firm.

Challenge

Upon joining the company, I discovered that their digital marketing efforts were minimal and disorganized. The initial challenge was to conduct market research and establish a marketing strategy that would specifically target local businesses. With a small team, we recognized the importance of everyone providing their input and feedback on various marketing initiatives to help us establish and analyze our efforts quickly.

Discovery

Organizing the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system was a crucial discovery that I made while working at Costello Creative Group. The CRM system allowed us to prioritize and maintain relationships with select few lucrative customers effectively. We integrated tools such as Streak and Zoho to organize, optimize and enrich prospect, customer, and vendor lists, which enabled us to monitor, maintain, and target all clients effectively.

We also realized that showcasing all available services was essential. To promote the company's full range of services, which included trade shows, print, digital, and marketing stationary for local businesses, we conducted extensive research on search engine optimization. By using specific keywords, we were able to easily target a niche market on Google search, and we created a pop-up contact form on the website to facilitate new client inquiries.

Establishing an email marketing strategy, maintaining a social media presence, and creating blog content allowed for maximum online exposure when most clients searched for services through Google and online searches.

Impact

​

The impact of our marketing efforts was significant. By utilizing effective marketing strategies, we were able to significantly increase engagement and conversions. Our efforts helped Costello Creative Group establish a digital presence and improve its overall marketing strategy. The company was able to secure more lucrative clients, leading to a notable increase in revenue.

In conclusion, my role as the Marketing Coordinator and Manager was instrumental in establishing a digital presence for Costello Creative Group. I learned valuable skills in SEO, Google search marketing, social media, blog posts, and marketing campaigns, and utilized them to establish effective marketing strategies that were successful in attracting new clients and retaining existing ones. With my efforts, Costello Creative Group experienced significant growth in digital engagements, which contributed to the overall success of the business.
